Thomas McElfresh/McElfish/Macklefresh and Edward Willson (my direct Line) were friends and they both "sold" property to their son-in-laws about the same time. Jared Danison was one of the beneficiaries and I knew his wife was Martha. Asa Willson son of above Edward was also one of them. Wife of Asa was Sarah McElfish (my line) Also A John Willson? don't know who he is. John Twigg Jr.(mentioned) married Susannah McElfish. Thomas McElfish's (died 1805) wife is Mary Powell father Thomas. His father was Thomas McElfish and mother Susannah Cheney. (proof of the above)On the 1860 census living with (Thomas and Charlotte Wilson)in Dewitt Co, IL was Joseph McKelfish (son of the above Thomas) age 72. He was buried in the small cemetery (Walters Cemetery) where my Willson's are buried. He was a great uncle to Thomas Wilson and son of Thomas and Mary Powell McElfish. Joseph had moved to OH before coming to IL.
