We think William was a farm laborer. His parents were Samuel Danks (born abt. 1786 in Fillongly, Warwickshire, England) and Mary Kyte. He married Rhoda Shaw Izon in 1835 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. Of course, you are quite right, we cannot be sure they were brothers especially since I have just discovered a discrepency in our records. William's birthplace is listed as Birmingham, Warwickshire in one record, but listed as Fillongley, War. in another record. Anyway, it is fun to speculate.
