thanks for your reply. I am fairly new to this, but I will tell you what I know of my family. My father is John Dann, born in Eastdean in 1942. His father was Cecil who was born also Eastdean 1920. His father was called William and born around 1880 or abouts. His father was Alfred, born 1856 in Willingdon. Later married to Dorcas and, on the 1880 census, living in Jevington with daughters Emily and Rosetta,
we may not be connected, but I would love to hear from you, may be distant relative, who knows??!!
Am I being too hopeful?
