Just learned of this Dann website. the genealogy you gave in your reply re. E.S. Dann corresponds to mine to Silvanus son of Squire. Silvanus' brother Johnathan is my line. He remained in Dantown in North Stamford and I was born in North Stamford 5 generations later. Raymond Dann who recently replied on this site is also from this same lineage. Brothers, Francis and Nataniel, sons of John Dan parted after the revolutionary War. Nat staying in Stamford and Francis moving into NY state-to continue down to Raymond. We attend their family reunion near Norwich NY annually in July. I assume you are of the Dann linage in your reply...if so, we may have a good deal to share. Most of what I know came from the BD&M info for Ct. and the Stamford Historical Society...and Raymond's brothers. If you receive this, I look forward to your reply.
Herb Dann
