Add to the directory The front page is in French, just click on the years, the directory itself is in English. I found an index for a William Dann Jr. surrogate Will. He is also in this directory, i'm sure it would answer alot of questions, but i am unable to access the document. Looks as tho he also went to Ontario. From what i can tell, the industrial revolution in the shoe industry wiped out most of these small shoe shops. I believe that's why they moved to Ontario.
