My g-greatgrandfather and greatgrandfather, Jonathan and Aaron Dansby hauled the materials to build the first suspension bridge west of the Mississippi built across the Brazos River at Waco, Texas. It was completed in 1870. It was the first bridge across the Brazos and the largest suspension bridge at that time in the USA. My greatgrandfather 2nd removed was also named Jonathan and was born in SC in 1802. Does your information about the SC Dansby family include information about a Jonathan?
