Are you African American? I'm a descendant of the Dansby family. My Great Great Grandfather was Chris Dansby (married Annie Holloway). He had 13 children (Johnnie, Tim, Cleve, Buddy, William, Katie Lou "Sis", Essie, Fannie Mae, Mary Jane, Mandy, Charlie, Maggie, and Annie Mae). I was told that Chris Dansby grew up in the South Carolina (Troy, Greenwood, Edgefield, McCormick) area. Charlie and Buddy are two Great Great Uncles I don't know about.
