I do not know of a coat of arms. I descend from Abraham Charter Dansby (1817-1874) and his wife Frances Scisly Mayberry, and Abrahams's parents Daniel Dansby (1790-1841) and his wife Mary Charter (1793-1834). These people were in Hickman, Maury, and Perry Counties, TN. Family tradition has said that Daniel was of British extraction. Abraham fought in Mexican War under John Wilkins Whitfield, his brother-in-law. I would appreciate any information you may have about descendants of Abraham's son Thomas (1850-1876 who married Mary Maxwell; he died in Perry Co.) and of Abraham's daughter Louisa Atlantic b. 1844 who married a Mr. Rogers and moved to Missouri. I know nothing about her. My gt-grandmother was Susan Caroline Dansby (1841-1868) who married Samuel Edward Blackburn of Maury Co.in 1856, and my grandmother was Frances Elizabeth Jane Blackburn b.1857 in Fayette Co., TX. and died Austin, TX 1938. I have used the "Dansby" spelling rather than the "Dansbee" spelling.
