D. Dansby, Wilcox County Alabama ca. 1840s1850s

Seeking information on what looks like "D M A Dansby" of "Prairie Bluff", which was in Wilcox County, Alabama, which is next to Marengo County in Alabama's Black Belt. He would have been in the area perhaps in the 1850s/ 1860s. I have a piece of furniture that belonged to him and his family at that time. I am sure the first initial is a D and I am sure the last name is Dansby. The middle part is somewhat run together. The family may have moved on, but he wrote his address as "Prarie Bluff" on the piece. Thank you for any help.
