My paternal grandfather was Isom Daniel Dansby born around 1880 in either North Carolina or Tennessee. He later moved to Texas and then to Oklahoma. My father did not know much about his history. I have traced several idividuals with the name Isom Daniel Dansby back to North Carolina census from the late 1600's. Still I cannot find anyone who has a clue as to where the Dansbys originated from. I would very much like to know if anyone finds out!!
