Okay, I think I have something....I still can't find anything about Caroline or Robert, but I do have info. on a Jacob Dansby who married an Elizabeth. I just am not sure that it is the same person, because the date 1860 seems a bit late for this Jacob. Jacob was born in SC (I am unsure what year, also there may be a Jacob Jr. that some of my info. is referring to, but I am not sure.)to Isham Dansby and Martha Noble. I have his siblings to be:Daniel, Isham Jr. (MY ancestor), William, Elizabeth, Nancy, Isaac, Charles and Sara. The only thing I knew about Jacob's wife was that her first name was Elizabeth. I have info. on Jacob as early as October 29, 1751 in Granville County, NC where he had a warrent to survey 640 acres, and as late as December 19, 1819 in the Abbeville District of SC where he sold 469 acres on the Perrible Creek to Isaac Dansby.
I don't know if any of this helps...I'll keep looking.
