I am just curious. I found in FamilySearch.ORG. Where someone was working with the surnames D'aoust/Leduc. Pierre D'aoust married Zoe Leduc. They were in Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada. It is a long shot, but sometimes they pan out.

My G-Grandfather Georges Leduc. immigrated to the United States in 1872. Family history says he was born in Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada 15 May 1856. He named his first child "ZOE". Born 4 Aug. 1889, she passed as an infant, and you will find her online in Wingville Cemetery, Baker City, Baker Co., OR. Family has always felt that "ZOE" was named after a family member of his. We have just never been able to fin parents for him. 1920 Census San Francisco, CA he states he was born in Montreal, and so were his parents. However, His daughters death certificate states he was born in Valleyfield.

Long Shot, I know.
