Hi Bob,

Thank you for replying to my inquiry. I was excited to see someone had info on this elusive side of the family! Here's what I know:

Auxilda (Asilda) Daoust married Levis Meilleur (around 1850). The names of Joseph Daoust and Visaline Sequin are listed as "sponsors" on the baptism record of Auxilda and Levis' son, Joseph Yvon Oliva Meilleur (my great-grandfather). Do you know what relationship Joseph and Visaline have to Auxilda? I'm thinking that Joseph is an older brother, as Auxilda's son was born 1/8/1875, and Joseph and Visaline were married only 13 years earlier. I'm anxious to compare notes! Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours,
Karyn Van Kainen
