       Claude Joseph was drafted into the Canadian Expeditionary Force on November 03, 1917. At the time of his enlistment he lived at Masson, Quebec. he was not married and was a Roman Catholic. Claude stood 5 feet 9 inches in height, hads blue eyes, light brown hair.
       A medical examination was held on November 03, 1917 in Buckingham, Quebec; and the examiner found no medical defects and declared Claude Daoust fit, category "A2" for Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force.
       
       The medical examiner found a small superficial scar 1" left patell, a second superficial scar 2" long over lower 3rd right tibia. Claude was 20 years 6 months old at the time of his enlistment and was a Cleck by trade.

       D'AOUST- J. Claude. Passed away in at a local hospital, on February 15, 1980, Claude D'Aoust, was 82 years of age he lived at 23 St-Louis Street, Masson. He leaves besides his wife, Isabelle Lahaie, three son: Hugues of Masson, Yves of Calgary and Gilles of Montreal; two sisters: Mrs. Irene Dumont of Buckingham, Miss Lillie D'Aoust of Buckingham, as well as 7 grand children and 2 great grand children. He is resting at funeral house Honors Cadieux Funeral Home, 322, Main Street, Buckingham. Funeral ceremony will take place on Tuesday February 19, at 10 o'clock a.m., in otre-Dame-des-Neiges Church, Masson. Burial to the parochial cemetery.

       DAOUST, Marcel- passed away in Lachine,on June 21, 1996, at the age of 71 years. Mr. Marcel Daoust, is the spouse of Liliane Perreault. In the place of flowers, donation to the Foundation of St-Luc Hospital , would be appreciated.
