Hi again, Wayne.I'm copying this message to the D-list in case anyone
can add to it.The family I have are these - with a total of 11
children including James b 1846.The information comes from the 1841
and 1851 census.There doesn't seem to be any trace of baptisms in the
records from St Katharine's Church, Blackrod for any of the children.
That suggests to me they were non-conformists, Roman Catholics or
pagans!Does that match up with anything you know about later
generations?
