Hi,
I am looking for information on the Dargan family from Moira, County Down, Ireland. More precisely they lived in an area known as Darganstown.

James Dargan born September 8, 1838 became a Marist Brother, which is a French teaching order. His given name was Brother Alban Mary.
In the 1881 Census he was at Chapel Street, Jarrow.
Death Certificate shows James Louis Alban Dargan, teacher, single. July 29th 1893 4 hrs 30 mins pm Mount Street, Midiall,(?) Dumfries, Scotland.
Parents John Dargan, farmer, deceased, mother Margaret Dargan Maiden surname Maguire deceased.

John Dargan and Margaret Maguire had at least one other child, Mary Dargan born abt 1833 who married James Muldoon on October 6, 1858 in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Ian
