In Reply to: JAMES WILLIAM DARGITZ by Goldie Seay of 30

I know very little about the circumstances surrounding my grandfathers life. Yet over the years I have been able to piece a few scraps and clues together.
His name was James Dargitz, born in, I believe Topeka Kansas or somewhere very close. Possible birth date is unknown, but I estamate during the Great Depression.
His was raised by an aunt, beliving it was his real mother.
The circumstances surrounding his birth I assume were some sort of embarassment to the family due to the possiblity of the real father being of Native American decent.
He married Blanche Louise Reed, and had two children Susan and James. They moved to the west coast and lived in San Diego for quite some time until moving to the Pacific northwest in the mid 60's.
I am his grandson Jason Joseph Fitzgerald, my mother's maiden name is Susan Dargitz, Now Susan Fitzgerald.

I was just doing some investigation and saw this posting, perhaps this is the same person. It would be quite exiting to learn more, if this is the case.

Please feel free to contact me.
