Hello! You didn't say if you are related or not. Or are you just collecting Darley info? I'm especially interested in finding living relatives!
I don't know much about Lemuel's children except for their names, as I mentioned in my previous message. Frank Darley married Pearl Delorme (don't know what year right now). I know they were divorced early on. My mother, Dorma Darley, was born July 16, 1925 - only child. She was three or not much older when they divorced. Pearl and Dorma both died three weeks apart from each other in 1993. Frank was born Sept 3,1897 and died Feb 5, 1968. He had remarried - a woman named Marge, and they were married for many years. They lived in Los Angeles county. Marge died about a year after Frank.
Lemuel's parents were John Darley and Mary Ann (?). Go to "John Darley's Will" and you will see the rest of the information that I found - names of his kids, including Lemuel -- http://www.carolyar.com/Illinois/Wills/Darley.htm
If you find out any more on Frank's siblings, please let me know. Oh, yeah, Wattie, if that is his full name, seems to have married a Lillian......somewhere I found this info about him:
age 44 in 1930. Mangager/Poultry Lillian age 40 in 1930. His mother-in-law was Mary C. Lambert....so that could have been Lillian's maiden name too. Wattie and Lillian had these children: Mary J., age 16 in 1930, Winona, age 8, Frank age 6, Dorothy, age 4.........all in 1930. Mary J. Darley, Frank and Wattie's mother, was born in April of 1832 in Ohio. Now I see the rest of my notes: Wattie born 12/30/1885 and died March 1967 in Talbot County, MD.
I would sure like to find out about Sadie because one site said she was still living as of August of this year! That would be incredible!
