Funeral Services For Mrs. Calhoun

Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Darley Calhoun, 87, who died in Odum Friday night, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. L. Trull, Sr., were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Odum Church of God. Rev. J. L. Lane officiated, and burial was in Tarrytown, near Soperton. Harrison Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Calhoun is survived, besides Mrs. Trull, by three other daughters, Mrs. Nettie Kelley of Stamford, Tex., Mrs. Maud Phillips and Mrs. Lois Palmer, both of Odum; four sons, Alvin A. Calhoun of Soperton, Fred H. Calhoun, Olen Calhoun and Marvin Calhoun, all of Odum; fifty-nine grandchildren, ninety-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers. They were Otis Phillips, Denton Phillips, Dwell Phillips, N. F. Trull, Darrah Trull and Emerson Calhoun.
