For what it is worth, I believe that the three brothers also had a sister named Mary, who married a James Williams in Scioto in 1820, and whom I believe is mistranscribed on the 1820 census as James Millirons. In 1830 he is transcribed correctly as James Williams.
This entry would be of the correct age for all involved, although final proof remains elusive.
It appears that this James Williams remarried in early 1836, although this is again circumstantial and awaiting final proof.
Many of these Darlingtons, and/or their offspring, ended up in Macoupin or Jersey County, Illinois, as did James Williams, I believe.
My speculation is that both the Williams and the Darlington families are tied into the RW veterans of Adams County, and these would then connect nicely back into Chester County, PA.
By the way, how did you confirm that Abisha is the brother of Samuel and Robert, and have you checked the Scioto County will books for the families, as there does appear items regarding these two brothers.
