Jeannette, you were right, I had to re-look at my data, David was married to Margaret Barnett. Sources that I have on them are:1860 the family moved to Northfield, DesMoines Co., Iowa where Daved served as Justiace of the Peace and Postmaster(see courthouse records). Margaret was living in Des Moines Iowa in 1855. See Deed Book L-I-450, 10 Oct. 1846: David and Margaret conveyed 2 acre to Jacob Messimer.

He was elected Justice of the Peace for Center twp, Perry Co. Pa.; 1849 sold at Sheriff's sale 100 cleard acres, 14 acres of meadow and a pebble-dashed dwelling house, double log barn and other out buildings in Center twp; 1850, David Darlingtaon vs John Rice trial 1851; 1851 arrived Yellow Spring twp, Des Moines Co. IA.
