Darlingtons emigrating to Jamaica & Barbados during 1700-1800's

I noticed during my family search that there were a number of Scottish/Irish Darlington's that went to Jamaica & especially Barbados to work & live with their families.

My grandfather is a Walker from St Ann's, Jamaica. His father is a Mr Harry Walker (brother of Ralph Darlington Walker), Harry & Ralph's father was Ralph Darlington Walker. Both Harry & Ralph Walker died in St Anns within the last 30 yrs. My great grandfather Ralph Darlington Walker was a landholder born in the 1800's.

I noted there was a James Darlington Walker who died in approx. 1877.I think he may be related to me.

Hope we can mutually assist each other.
