HI. While several children of JARED IRWIN settled initially in New Jersey and then Chester County (Caln and West Nantmeal townships) -- I do not know of any documentary evidence that JARED IRWIN actually came to Pennsylvania. The Irwin family Reunion (meets in August in the churchyard of the Brandywine Manor Presbyterian Church in Chester County, PA)has traditionally said JARED returned from Northwern Ireland to Scotland when an old man -- and may have died there. Jared's children: John, Edward, George, Robert, Elizabeth Irwin (married a Robert Darlington) Mary Irwin,(married secondly Joseph Darlington - who died 1748), Jane (unmarried) and maybe a Theophilus (1710-1795) are said to have initially settled around Mount Holly, NJ -- prior to Chester County. DO YOU HAVE ANY DOCUMNENTS SUGGESTING THE REUNION tradition about JARED is in error. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org -- My address is 824 Moore's Court, Brentwood, TN 37027
