Yes, I have been learning a lot about Hannah Darlington (b. perhaps in Birminghan twp. Chester Co.) and William, the elder, Jefferis aka Jeffries/Jeffreys/Jefferies of East Bradford Twp., Chester Co. I have found his son William's Revolutionary War stone in a Fayette Co., Pa. Cemetery, and learned a lot about his militia service, about his exile because of it by the Quakers, and of his marrying Ann Woodward of West Bradford, and their trek westward with their brothers and sisters and possibly Ann's parents, Richard Woodward and Hannah Taylor, who also ended up in Fayette Co.
Hannah and William Jeffries' daughter Hanna Anne (aka Nancy Anne) married Joseph Ghrist; and they had Martha Jane who married James Simpson of Washington Co.,Pa. Their daughter Nancy Anne (aka Hannah) Ghrist married Joseph Kelley, and they had Margaret Nancy (aka Nancy Margaret) Kelley who married my great-grandfather George Johnson, of Redstone Twp. Fayette Co. I think they had all become Presbyterians by then.
Not only is the Quaker repitition, and inversion, of names thru generations confusing, but the Hannah/Nancy Anne 'name game' is hard to follow. Have fun. thom
