Darlington listed as "nurse child"
Posted by: Louise K (ID *****6402) Date: February 25, 2011 at 17:33:17

I've started searching for my grandfathers history and I seem to be stuck and very confused ( ha ha)
So many William's, Thomas's and Charles's ( ha ha)
I hope someone here can help me.

My grandfather "William Stephan Darlington" was born in Birkenhead England 1915.
His father "William Thomas" died in 1919. He reports in census that he was born in Knutsford.

I've been able to trace William Thomas to a 1871 census living with a Jane and William Darlington. William Thomas is listed as "nurse child"

I cant find a birth certificate for William Thomas.
I cant find jane and William Darlington anywhere either.

Can anyone help me?
Thank you so much :0)
