Hi Bridget. I am looking for link back to barbados/Jamaica for my husband who is Garfield Christopher Darlington. His grandfather was Simeon Joseph Darlington b 1896? His father was Christopher Darlington. Simeon moved from barbados to guyana and married Rebecca Adams who was half black and half Amerindian . Christopher Darlington was from mixed race

I'm wondering if my husband may be descendant of Ralph walker's Jamaican family. From your posting, would the mother be Eliza Jane? Was she black?

Do you have any info that would link this up? I'm particularly looking for name of black mother given numerous postings say Ralph walker had a Jamaican family.

Tracing the Darlington is interesting and I wonder if the Darlington was from Elizabeth although not blood relative.
