It has been a while since I posted that message.
Since then I have found the Dermody and Reidy Family the first in Kilkenny and the later in Limerick.
I have also found the surving family of the Reidy's still in Limerick but they no longer own the family farm as it was sold off a few years back.
In regards to the Dermody family Keiran and Mary(Cody) had 5 children Keiran 1828 John 1829 Maria 1831 Anastasia 1832 and Michael 1833.
The Reidy family were from Tulligmacthomas which is in the Dromcolligher Parish. Patrick and Maria (Dermody) had children Margaret c1857 Kilkenny, Anastasia bn 1859 Banagher, Kings Co., John 1860 Banagher, Kings Co., Mary 1862 Tulligmacthomas Limerick they also had 3 more children in NSW Australia after they arrived in 1864. Patrick was a member of the RIC which explains the children being born in different counties.
