Ella May Darner,s Parents Phillip J Darner and Mary Mahetible Sweezey were my Great Great Grandparents. Phillip was born December 14 1836 in Muskingum County Ohio Died January 01 1924 Burried in Amews Iowa Mary was born March 07 141 in New York, New York and Died March 07 1923 and burried in Ames Iowa I have Nora, Hattie, Phillip, Ella, Francis(my great grandfather) and Emma as their children. Phillip was inlisted in the Union Army at the age of 25 (Nov 15, 1864) He was Mustard out July 24 1865 in Louisville Kentucky (civi war). The 1920 census Listed Phillip age 84 and wife Mary 78 Living in Nevada Iowa ON Pine stree. Found in Honey CreekTownship Koszia Cemetery Records was a son Phillip H. Darner,of P.J.& M.M. D. died Sept 17, 1866 ag 1yr. 3mo. 14 days. A daughter Hattie T. Darner died August 1,1863 age 10 mo. 14 days. Phillip Died in the Iowa Soilder Home in Marshalltown Iow Had a broken hip at the time of death. I have a lot more Information if you are interested.
