Edward and John Darr
Posted by: Carol Hines (ID *****3034) Date: August 28, 2007 at 02:04:23

I am looking for any information on two brothers, Edward F. and John S. Darr. Edward was born c1839 in VA and John was born c1844 in MO. They were orphaned and sent to live with an aunt and uncle (Grace and Caleb Knifong). They are listed living with their aunt and uncle on the 1850 Sullivan Co., Mo. Census. (Their parents were Samuel and Elizabeth Darr.) Edward and John had siblings who were sent to live with other relatives. In 1867 their Uncle Caleb had them declared dead and their estates were divided among their siblings.
