**Maria Catharina Butterfast**?
I have an article from a magazine " 1973 Pennslyvania Folklife. Volume 22; issue 4, pages 43 - 48. The title,' American Emigration Materials from Pfeddersheim", by Albert Cappel. Translatedand edited by Don Yoder.
I'm sorting thru genealogy and found this. On page 47, first column, all the way down it says, ' An inventory dated sept 4, 1760, of the estate of Balthasar Fountain, citizen and master baker, who was buried May 17, 1744, at the age of 68, and his wife **Maria Catharina, nee Butterfass**, who died tne year previously (1759). They left eight children.
on page 46, second column at the bottom - Among the Pfeddersheim Inventories and Estate Divisions for the period 1760-1765, is an inventory dated August 6, 1762, of the estate of Ann Elisabetha, nee Walter, wife of Michael Dillinger, master blacksmith at Pfeddersheim, who died four weeks previously. She left, besides her second husband, three children from her second marriage -1. Abraham Derst, who was in the New Land. 2. Jacob Derst sent to Netherlands. 3. Maria Magdalena Derst, married to Adam Christian Schultz.
Abraham immigrated 1743 arriving at Philadelphia on the ship Robert and Alice. There is a Johann Jakob Derst mentioned, his wife Maria Catharina ?
you will have to find the article and read more. Debbie
