Dear Searchers: I have fairly often seen the claim that there is a family connection between William Darwin (1707-1786) of Lousia Co VA and the family of the celebrated scientist Charles R. Darwin--and, as a descendent of William Darwin myself, would be delighted if such claims were true. But I have never seen any documents that actually demonstrate such a connection, only conjectures about possible connections. If I've missed something, please let me know, I'd be delighted!
