An oversight to previous posting: I have a copy of H.Farnham Burke's "Pedigree of the Family of Darwin" (1888), which shows the extended family tree for Charles R. Darwin. There is nothing there to make a connection to the United States, although some have found some candidates for possible ancestors for William Darwin (1707-86) of Virginia
