I hate to (maybe) throw a wrench into the works, but wasn't it common practice in the 1600's for the BUSINESS, such as will probate and other legal work to be done in England? I have run across many instances where the persons who had come from England returned to England to handle the legal questions/problems/business.
Jane Wilkerson(?) and William Darwin are my ancestors as well, and I would REALLY like to find their parents, too.
Enjoyed the Web site and comments of all. Thanks.
