Hi Bonnie, I am stuck on my Darwin side as well let me give you what I have and see if there could be a connection some how. My father James Kenneth Darwin b. 1917, his father James Harvey Darwin b.1887, his father Peter Leroy Darwin b. about 1860 or so. Peter was married to Anna Rafferty. James Harvey m. to Commie Johnson. and my father James Kenneth m. Helen Parry.

My father James K. was born in Spokane Washington. James Harvey it says on his ss# application dated May 21, 1937 he was born in Mason City Iowa. On his death Cirtificate dated May 8, 1956 it says Kansas, and on my fathers Birth cirtificate dated July 4, 1917 it says Mason City Iowa, on my dads brother's birth c. it says Eldorado Kansas. I have sent for my Aunts birth but it has not come yet. I figured the SS# app. was the best to go by but when I sent for his Birth C. they said I didn't have enough info. So you see I am stuck too. I have been told the Darwins connect some how but how. I don't have anyone to ask.

I would like to know your Grandmothers name, what year did your grandfather die, have you ordered his SS# app., I guess just more info. It is funny your dads middle name is my ggrandfathers leroy. Well let me know you can e-mail me directly at dbell@cmc.net Talk to you soon Darlene
