Hello Norm,
I have been researching my branch of the Darwin family and find they originated in Nottinghamshire England. Thus far I have successfully documented the family to Daniel (7th GGF)1690-1768. There is some speculation he is the son of Thomas Darwin (About 1670)of Nottingham. This line of the Darwin family were located for the most part in South Leverton, Nottingham County until 1858-1859 when Robert Charles Darwin (4th GGF) and family migrated to America. I have a good deal of information if you are interested. Contact me, Don Darwin at dddarwin@aol.com
