This is what I have on this line (research by C.B.Darwin), by generations:

1) William Darwin (1707-1786) m. Jane Wilkinson/Wilkerson (1715-1790), Louisa Co. VA

2) James Darwin (1744-1825) m. Mary Cowan (1746-1818), migrated first to York District SC, thence to TN

3) William Washington Darwin (1769-1852) m. Jane Adams (1774-?). Their children in generation (4) are

a. James Adams Darwin (1796-1872) m. Bethiah White Clements (1798-1873) [Rhea Co. TN]
b. George W. Darwin (1799-1865) m. (1) Belinda L. Humphrey (1805-1836) (2) Susannah True (1817-?) [Madison County AL]
c. William Darwin (1799-1838) m. Celia Fennel Peck (1805-1882)
d. John L. Darwin (? - 1830) m. Mary Wright
e. Robert Cowan Darwin (?-1840)
f. Andrew M. Darwin (1821-?)
g. Pendleton Gaines Darwin (1824-?) m. ?

Son of (d.) is John William Darwin (1828-?); son of (g.) is (confusingly!) John William Pendleton Darwin (1855-?), who married a Georgia Neel (1857-1903)-- many descendants!

Hope the above helps; happy hunting!
