I have followed your thread with interest since I have some Dashers in my Wisenbaker (Wysennbakker) lineage.

I have a John Wisenbaker (John #1) who married Ann (Anna) Christina Dasher, dau. of Christain L.Dasher (1733 Germany) and Ann Christina Meyer.

The Dasher and Wisenbaker links are established in Reba Wisenbaker Paine's "Christopher and His Children" (1994 ISBN 1-570877-044-6, Lib. of Congress #94-65923)

Pages 83-90 list all of the Dasher connections: John Martin Dasher (Taescher), bro of Christian Dasher I, was aboard the "Europa" that landed in Georgia in 1741.

John Martin married Ursula and had nine children.

One of his second generation of Dashers, Edwin A. Dasher, married Susannah C. Wisenbaker, dau. John #2 Wisenbaker and Mary Densler Wisenbaker.

Another, Abraham Dasher, married Mary Ann Wisenbaker (same parents).

This John #2 was the son of John Wisenbaker and Ann Christina Dasher.

Lot of cousins getting married!

This same John #2 and Mary (Densler) Wisenbaker were the founders of Valdosta GA.

Let me know if the Dashers in my lineage are the same as in yours.
