I KNOW THIS IS VERY VAGUE BUT HERE GOES..... As far as I'm lead to beleive that DASHER was given to our family back when the blacks were slaves. That is how we inherrired it. I don't have much information but my G.Grandmother EDITH who married a Dasher was a draysman in the war. They met in Birkenhead back in about the 1930's. They had 2 daughters, Pat & Joan. I do know that one of my G.Grandmother husbands brother was called Joe Dasher who was a famous boxer. Unfortunately none of the DASHERS in our family are alive, we are now the BARNES and CHAPPELLS, so if any of these names ring a bell let me know. So really I'm looking for any DASHERS who live in Birkenhead or the surrounding areas who knows of any information no matter how small, as every step I'll get closer.
