Thanks to Ottis for emailing this. Macie was my grandmother's 1st cousin, their fathers were brothers and both she and my grandmother married 2 of the Dasher brothers, Cyril and Deron.

Macie Miller Dasher, 90, of Screven, passed away late Monday evening,
December 26, 2005, at the Pierce County Nursing Home following several
months of declining health.
A native and life-long resident of Wayne County, she was a farm-wife. She
was a member of the Salem Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, the Adult
Bible Study Class and the Love Thy Neighbor Club. She also enjoyed
substitute teaching, reading and selling World Book Encyclopedias. She was a
daughter of the late Isham T. and Sally Robertson Miller and was also
preceded in death by her husband, Deron W. Dasher; three sisters and five
Survivors are a daughter, Lequita Baylor, Fowler, CO; a son and
daughter-in-law, Gary and Jackie Dasher, Jacksonville, FL; a special nephew,
Ricky (Carol) Miller of West Virginia; a sister, Elizabeth Pearson Manning,
Blackshear; six grandchildren, DeAnn Eaton (Steve) Azar, DiAnn (Michael)
Bourget, Sandra Jean (Richard) Herrell, Carrie (Chris) Brown, Leigh Ann Jara
and Deron (Wendy) Dasher; eight great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, other nephews and relatives.
Funeral were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29, from the Salem
Primitive Baptist Church in Screven with Elder Scott Riner and Elder Roland
Waters officiating.
Interment followed in Screven City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Operations of Salem Progressive Primitive
Baptist Church, 301 C W Collins Street, Screven, GA 31560.
Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online register at
Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home of Blackshear was in charge of arrangements
