You probably know of course that alot of Palatines were sent to Ireland about the time your Elizabeth would have lived. The English had offered to help the Palatines settle in the new world. They were overwelmed with takers and to get them out of England, they sent some to Ireland. Obviously, your Elizabeth still managed to get here. There are lots of great history books that describe the routes taken by these early settlers. Where did your Elizabeth end up? I have a Henry Dasher in PA in1750. I would like to think he or his father was part of this wave, so I am researching Dasher/Dascher/Dusher/Decher/Tuescher in Germany, Switzerland to see if I can tie any families together. I think we're very lucky to have a name that is not very common. Let me know about your Elizabeth--sometimes families brought others over after they were settled.
