Hi there, my mothers name was Dauber. Her great grandfather, Enrique was the consul for trade and posted to England in about 1890. Her grandfather, who also became consul, Jose, had many brothers and sisters, and there was a Luiz, there, who moved back to Montevideo. Jose died in 1950, and at least 1 of his brothers stayed in England.
Dont know if they are relatives of yours, but there are not many Daubers out there.
