Thanks very much for that information, John!

I can only take my Daubert line back as far as Abraham Daubert, who must have been born in the approximate range of 1747-1757. He married a Barbara Frantz (born 1756), and the couple seems to bounce between church records in Bowers, Berks County and Lowhill, Lehigh (then Northampton) County. I sure would appreciate anyone's help in taking that line farther back.

It also seems that an original Daubert immigrant -- perhaps your Michael? -- may have purchased a large amount of land near present-day Schnecksville from my Wert ancestor, Johann Ulrich Wirth, in the late 1700's or early 1800's. That information is very sketchy, but I can explain further, if anyone's interested.

Randy
