Hi.toJean and Chris.I am interesred in the connection between the thre families .My ancestors lived in Nth. Lincolnshire the sixteenth century though most have emmigrated to N.Z. Australia and South Africa in nineteenth century. Earliest records I have for Wigan records a marriage in1598 Most of Lincolnshire families became protestant, many in lancashire are Catholic. The european Family is a very old Jewish family originally centred in Roumania.A number of them have emmigrated to U.S.A. and some of those have converted to Christianity.Several generations of my family spelt the name with [u] and one widow spelt her name Dobber in her will of 1639 I.m interested in anyone from Lincolnshire but I also have part trees of Lancastrians Good luck to you both
