Hi! Looking for anyone who can tie in with this family: August Dauer b. 1847 in Germany. Married Augusta abt 1871 in Ger. Immigrated to U.S. bet. 1877-1880 with wife and 3 children, Lizzie, Paul, and Hannah (Johanna). A fouth child, Rose, was born in 1880 in Syracuse, NY. Augusta died and August married a second time to Amolia Newman, who was born 1859 in Ger. They married abt 1881-1882. They had 8 children: Minnie b. 1883, John b. 1885, Alma b. 1886, Florence b. 1888, George b.1890, William b. 1894, Bertha b. 1897, and Edward b. 1899. All these children were born in Chicago, IL. August was a tailor in Chicago. Both he and Amolia are buried in Chicago. Some of their children moved up into the Beloit area of Wisconsin. Would love to hear from anyone who can connect to this family!
