Hello Michelle,
My name is Mary Barton formerly Mary DiNucci. My grandmother's maiden name is Maria D'Auria, born in Italy in 1888. I don't know if she any brothers, but she came to America from Atripalda, Italy, on the San Guglielmo and arrived here June 24, 1913 with her sister, Rosa D'Auria, born 1894.
My grandmother, Maria D'Auria's, father was Guiseppe D'Auria from Atripalda and I don't know his birthdate.
My mother was Annuziata D'Auria Rosato, and she was only 6 months old when she came with Maria to the US. My mother had two sisters, Louise and Viola. Viola is the only one still alive today.
They all were brought up in the Boston, Mass area. East Boston, Chelsea, areas. And, then as adults lived in Arlington, MA, which is where I grew up.
I'm wondering if there is any relation or if you have any information on any of the D'Auria's in Atripalda.
Any information would be helpful.
