Thank you for your detailed and informative posting. It certainly lets me feel more comfortable that Susannah Daux and her family is mine.

As for her Turbeville (various spellings) children, Message #22 on the Turberville Genform from Wayne Witt Bates says that "per court records, this couple (John Turbyville and Susannah Daux) had son John, and daughter Mary. And perhaps a Richard Tyrbyfield, who is said to have gone to SC. Per Court records, John Turbyville was born about 1649, but I don't know where."

Well, there certainly was a Richard Turbavell that turned up in SC, on the Occoneeche Neck of the Morattuck (now Roanoke River).

I haven't checked the Turberville forum lately to see if anyone had further info on this perported son.
