If the answer is Douglas I'm the one who responded to the Tully Davenport messages. And yes there are two cases of MD in my line. My Aunt Hilda Davenport Yates Brabble's daughter Elizabeth Yates Kirby had two children with MD. They were born about 1940. Both passed away around the age of 30. I believe that my line comes through Richard R. Davenport's son John but have yet to prove it. I am back to William May Davenport b.abt. 1775 died before 1840. I believe that his father was named John but which John is my problem. There were about four Johns in Tyrrell County at that time and I am trying to sort them out. D. H.
