Hi, Loraine. I, too, was born and reared in Mackeys. My father was William Smith Davenport II, son of Alva Edison Davenport, son of William Smith Davenport. My middle name is Blount--named for my GGrandmother Elizabeth Blount, m. William Smith. My grandfather Raymond Collins was the Norfolk and Southern bridge foreman from the early 30's to the mid-50's. I have a history of Mackeys written by John Forbes Davenport and Fred Davenport (sons of William B. Davenport). Many mentions of Spruills and others in your lineage.

Betty
