My William was married to Amanda Shroyer in February 1874 in Bethel, Miami County OH. The censuses we have found him in say his mother was from Ohio. All his children were born in Ohio in Miami county. They later moved to North Dakota between 1890 and 1900. They had 6 children-Jennie Aleene, Edward Clifford, Mary Gertrude, Frances Miranda,
Edith Estella, and Charles Harrison(our line). After ND, they moved to Downey Idaho, then William and Amanda later moved to Boise ID. I have found William on a census(at least we think that it is him)in 1870, single in Miami county as a laborer, and in all the censuses after that. We just cannot find who his parents are.
