Hi Margaret,
I must admit that when I first read your message it looked extremely promising! I have just checked what I have for the Davenport family and although Ann did have a sister Mary she was born in 1789 and possibly married a Joseph Cheetham. However I have gone wrong so many times on this line anything is possible. The family group I have at the moment is as follows.....Thomas 1782, Ann 1787, Mary 1789, John 1794 and Elizabeth 1798, all children of a John Davenport and Elizabeth Richardson. I think all the children were born in Over Peover and then Ann lived in Styal. Her uncle Jonathan also moved to Styal.
Every time I think I have got it right something comes along to upset the apple cart!
